Scrubs to Move to ABC?

Preliminary reports say that a move from NBC to ABC is currently being discussed.

Scrubs could be changing stations to ABC this year, TVGuide.com reports.

According to TVGuide's TV insider, Michael Ausiello, sources are confirming that the story in The Hollywood Reporter, that ABC is in negations to pick up as many as 18 episodes of Scrubs, is true.

The talks come after negations between ABC Studios, which produces Scrubs, and NBC broke down. The two sides had been trying to work out a deal that would have given the long-running show a proper send-off in May.

Ausiello also reports that the entire cast would be on board if the move were to happen, including Zach Braff, whose deal expires this year.

Be sure to keep in mind that NBC still has five pre-strike episodes of Scrubs that they have every right to air. And if the move were to happen, it would not be beyond reach for NBC to tab the fifth episode to air the "Series Finale."
