The Disney darling can sleep a little sounder tonight.

The Associated Press reported Selena Gomez was granted a temporary restraining order against her stalker, Thomas Brodnicki, Thursday.

Brodnicki, who has a history of mental illness, reportedly threatened Gomez's life and is now required to stay at least 100 yards away from the star until a November 4 hearing. If the 19-year-old is successful, the order could be extended to three years.

Ace Show Biz reported this isn't the first time the 46-year-old man has been served stalking charges and that he told his psychiatrist he was going to kill Gomez.

In her restraining order declaration, Justin Bieber's girlfriend said she is in "extreme fear" for her life. Gomez and her lawyer, Blair Berk, also stated Brodnicki was put under mental evaluation when he threatened to "scratch people's eyes out on the street."

Wonder if her boyfriend's going to hire a 24-hour security team for his "Baby". We wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did.
