Seventh Season of 24 to be Rewritten
Production of 24 delayed
The production of season 7 of the Fox network's Emmy winning drama series, "24," has been delayed. According to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, Fox asked that the planned storyline for season 7 be rewritten because it would have been too expensive.
The only two characters from previous seasons that are confirmed to return for season 7 are Chloe O'Brian and, of course, Jack Bauer. It is rumored that the president in season 7 will be a woman. The production delay does not necessarily mean that the premiere of the show will be delayed, as the show is not scheduled to premiere until January.
