Sham Wow That Guy's Arrested?

We have all seen commercials for that multi-use ShamWow. But how many people actually know the spokesperson's name? Well, it's Vince Shlomi, and according to both thesmokingun.com and thehuffingtonpost.com, he was arrested last month in Miami for felony battery charges.

Shlomi, who has also appeared in the Slap Chop commercials, was arrested for a violent encounter with a hooker named Sasha Harris after he propositioned her for "straight sex."

"Shlomi said that when he kissed Harris she suddenly 'bit his tongue and would not let go.' Shlomi then punched Harris several times until she released his tongue," the smokinggun.com reported. The site also reported that after the altercation, Harris ran to the lobby of Shlomi's hotel, where she summoned the cops. She was still bleeding, and received fractures and facial lacerations from the incident. Though Harris is considering filing a lawsuit against Shlomi, prosecutors have declined to file "formal charges" against him.
