Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth as Friends?

The Los Angeles Times reports that in the new edition of Entertainment Weekly, ex rivals Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth are friendly and wanting peace on the set of the new show.

As if the cover of Entertainment Weekly showing a picture of the two where Doherty's arm is over Garth's doesn't say it enough!

Doherty says that the two have learned a lot from the past and describes the experience of doing the new 90210 with Garth as going into war.

"It's like going to a war together. You've already been in the trenches together. You learned so much from that first war. That second war, you know what you need to do to make the set the most peaceful environment you can possibly have."

And when it comes to their new and younger cast mates who play high school students at West Beverly, they highly impress Garth.

"They are savvy," Garth says, "They know what they signed up for. They have all this knowledge about the business."

Doherty says much the same. She even calls them amazing, "They're far more prepared than we ever could have been. And they're amazing."

This is all good news for audiences in anticipation of the revival of 90210 on the CW in September.
