Sheen to Return to 'Two and a Half Men' Tuesday
CBS's top sitcom Two and a Half Men has been halted for several weeks now due to Charlie Sheen's stay at rehab. Fortunately, a spokesman for Sheen confirmed that he will be leaving rehab soon and is due back on the show's set Tuesday.
Sheen voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility "as a preventive measure," according to Stan Rosenfield, Sheen's publicist. No specification was made by Rosenfield as to why Sheen was seeking treatment.
Even though Sheen will be returning to Two and a Half Men's set, the actor still faces problems related to a fight wish his wife in Aspen, Colorado, in December. The maximum punishment for this serious issue is a three-year prison sentence.
Sheen is due back in court Monday where he is expected to enter a plea. It will certainly be interesting to see how the show is affected in the long run and if the show's other performers will start seeking work elsewhere in what looks to be a long dry spell.
