Should Susan Boyle Get a Makeover?

Susan Boyle, 47, became a singing sensation virtually overnight – and overseas – with her incredible performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables on Britain's Got Talent.

But it wasn't love at first sight for the show's judges or the audience. Boyle's appearance, which included bushy eyebrows, wild hair and a baggy dress, caused an instant judgment, and it wasn't a good one.

Now, despite her looks, all of Britain and America is smitten with the never-been-kissed chanteuse. But of course the question remains – should she get a makeover?

Boyle herself is skeptical about changing her look. She told CNN, "I wouldn't want to change myself too much because that would really make things a bit false."

Amanda Holden, one of the judges on Britain's Got Talent, said, "She needs to stay exactly as she is because that's the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street," reports the British Daily Mail.

Only time will tell whether Boyle decides on a makeover, and if the world will still love her if she does.
