Britney Spears takes some time out for a good deed.

Her concert at the American Airlines Arena wasn't the only reason Britney was in Miami today.

According to RadarOnline.com, the sweetheart singer stopped in this morning at the Miami Children's Hospital, which has a program called Big Apple Circus Clown Care. This community outreach program brings the circus to children in 19 pediatric hospital facilities in the United States by having medically trained clowns come in on a regular basis.

Ricardo Restrepo, a pediatric radiologist, and Lou Schrager, Director of Media for Southern Wine and Spirits America, arranged for the visit. They said there was a natural tie-in with the program and Britney's current tour theme.

Britney didn't stay long due to her busy schedule, but she posed for pictures and handed out autographs to the 40 children.
