Cowell confirms his engagement.

Simon Cowell, the brutally honest judge on Americal Idol, confirmed his engagement on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Cowell is engaged to Idol makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy.

According to People, Cowell told Leno, when asked about the engagement rumors:

"Are they true? Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy."

Cowell, 50, bought Hussainy, 36, the huge ring in London. On The Tonight Show, Hussainy joined Cowell on stage when spotted by Leno.

Cowell mentioned that he would want a wedding within the next 10 years, and joked that Leno could be the flower girl if he wanted to be a part of the celebration. When asked about children, Cowell replied that he wasn't sure but would like to have "a lot of me's around in the future."
