Simon Cowell reportedly offered Beyonce $500 million gig on 'X-Factor'

Simon Cowell sure has some very high goals.

The UK’s Daily Mail reported that one day after the X-Factor judge fired Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones, he’s looking at recruiting a fresh crop of celebrities to join the reality TV competition show, including big name star, Beyonce.

In fact, reports are saying Cowell offered the Crazy in Love singer a whopping $500 million to be a judge on his show.

According to the Huffington Post, he’s also reportedly looking to recruit Perez Hilton and Mariah Carey.

The rumors are interesting because none of the three aforementioned celebs are particularly harsh or hyper-critical. Yes Hilton’s blog rose to popularity because of his mean comments, but he’s since vowed to be less of a bully and has definitely watered down his tone.

And given that Cowell fired Abdul because she was too encouraging, it wouldn’t make sense for him to hire a new set of nice judges.

Of course the probability of the Beyonce rumor being true is very slim. Not only is the superstar one of the most coveted celebs around, she also just recently gave birth to her first daughter and probably has her hands full with that.
