Simon Monjack Dies

Simon Monjack, Brittany Murphy’s widower, was found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday night.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the British screenwriter was found late Sunday night. The cause of death is unknown.

The LAFD responded to a 911 call for, “unspecified medical aid request.” Sgt. Louie Lozano said, “We have detectives at scene. They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.”
Monjack's death comes only five months after Murphy died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency and drug intoxication. She died on December 20. She went into cardiac arrest and firefighters responded at 8am. They tried to revive her on the way to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center but she was pronounced dead two hours later.
