Simpson Wants OK! To Retract Article

Jessica Simpson has had her lawyers write a letter to Sarah Ivens, the editor of OK! magazine, asking for a retraction on an article headlined, "Jessica Dumped!"

The article claimed that NFL quarterback Tony Romo dumped Simpson after the Dallas Cowboys lost in the Playoffs, as well as said that her sister Ashlee Simpson is trying to distance herself from Jessica.

The letter claims that reports of Simpson and Romo breaking up are "utterly false" and that OK! magazine is running a "smear campaign." Also, the letter said that the article is "based on nothing more than rumor, gossip, and innuendo."

The article has also subjected Simpson to "public contempt, aversion or disgrace." Simpson wants OK! to "immediately publish a prominent and unambiguous" retraction.

According to Simpson and her people, Romo and Simpson are still together.
