Simpsons and Wentz Brawl with Bouncers

Ashlee Simpson can rest easy now, knowing that both her boyfriend Pete Wentz and her father Joe will throw punches for her. Joe, Ashlee, Wentz and their entourage were attempting to enter a VMA after-party when bouncers allowed the three through, but not the rest of their group. Wentz quickly became heated, arguing with security.

A guard pushed Wentz and in the process shoved Ashlee Simpson into a wall. Wentz quickly rushed to her side, throwing punches left and right to any surrounding bouncers. Joe Simpson got in on the action to defend his younger daughter. Simpson told New York Daily News: "When somebody messes with my baby, then it's over!" Wentz vowed never to enter the club again, and Ashlee became angry when a fan tried to snap a photo of the fight. It was at least the second fight of the night, following Kid Rock and Tommy Lee's heated argument, at the VMAs, earlier that evening.
