'The Simpsons' Recap Dec. 4

The Simpson kids are each seen sitting on the living room coach watching the Itchy and Scratchy show. Kursty the Clown comes on television after the cartoon is over and announces that another episode of the show will come on next. Kursty is seen complaining that his show has to many cartoons on it.

Marge comes into the living room to tell the kids they have had enough television for the day and that she wants the entire family to go to the museum of television. She says it will museum will be closing down soon do they must go to the history of shows they have never heard of.

At the museum the family sees that all the exhibit items are being sold off as movers break them all down and carry them away. Homer and the kids decide to play with some of the more interest items. While playing with a port gun he splits his pants and a cut out of a favorite television character grabs his attention.

He sees a cut out of the television star Fatso Flanagen and is so excited. Marge tells him it's a rip off of the Honey Mooners. Homer meets the star of the show’s agent, Annie, and asks if she thinks he can become an actor. After seeing Homer do an impression of a dead body she thinks he may have a career.

Kursty is speaking with his producers and tells them he wants less cartoons featured on his show. Kursty’s producers tell him that they are also interested in making changes. They inform him that audiences no longer want to see him on television so they are letting him go. Kursty is shocked and upset. He goes to see his agent to gain some support and look for new work but his agent drops him as a client. Kursty is very depressed and is see crawling out of his agent’s office.

The Simpsons family goes to Kursty Burger after leaving the museum to grab a bite to eat. Brat and Lisa find Kursty crying in the ball pit. Kursty sits down with the family and explains to them that he has just lost his job. They try to cheer him up by telling him about the agent they met at the museum.

The family takes Kursty to Annie’s office and he does not like the look of the building but goes to talk to her. When Annie opens her door to greet him she is angry at the site of him and beings to scream about how ungrateful he is and how she will ever represent him. She slams the door in Kursty’s face. Lisa asks him does he know her and he assures her that he does not.

The Simpsons go to ask Annie why does she hate Kursty. She tells them about how she first met Kursty and that he was her first client. She claims to have made him into the clown he was before he lost. She turned him into a physical comic which helped him gain a larger fan base. She tells him they began a sexual relationship and she fell in love. Just when they were getting big she says that Kursty left her for another agent. She says she can never take him back as a result. Kursty, after hearing the story, remembers her and begs her to take him back. Annie feels bad and she takes him back.

Annie lands Kursty a gig doing his kid act for adults. Kursty is scared at first but she gives him a confidence boost by telling him that people love their childhood and will want to be reminded of it. When he does his show it is a big hit and they love it.

Kursty is grateful to Annie for the all her efforts and kisses her behind stage. The two begin to kiss passionately and their previous relationship is renewed and he promises to never replace her.

Brat and Lisa join Kursty in his dressing room and tell him that his show is a hit with critics. His agent tells him that the networks are begging for him. She takes him to a meeting with a big network that's gives him everything he wants. He is very happy with the deal they offer him and he asks to make his agent his producer.

The show they are developing is getting big buzz and Kursty is excited. His agent Annie on the other hand is going crazy on set and treating people horribly.

The network representatives bring Kursty in for a private meeting and tell him that Annie is becoming a problem and they want him to fire her. They tell him she has done outrageous acts and she will have to go. Kursty defends her until he sees a tape of her trying to run an intern down with a golf court. He becomes fearful when he realizes that Annie’s actions on the tape are being filmed live and the intern runs into the private meeting screaming for help.

At a taping of Kursty's new show the fans are excited. Kursty introduces a comedian that is funnier than him and Annie is upset and stops the show. The network representatives come on set and tell Kursty to fire Annie. Kursty does not know what to do. Annie asks him is he really going to fire her and at first if seems like he may.

Rather than firing her Kursty keeps his promises to take care of her and the couple is seen on the set of Kursty’s new show which seems to be Kursty doing soft core porn.
