Sin City Director Lines Up Predator

According to horror movie website Bloody-Disgusting, director Robert Rodriguez is going to produce a new "Predator" film.

Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios is set to produce the film with 20th Century Fox. The film is expected to be a reboot, meaning the franchise is going to start from scratch very much like what has been done with the "James Bond" and "Batman" franchises.

What really has the website excited, though, is that there may be more than one Predator alien involved. If you recall the original, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers, it was about a group of commandos who are hunted by a single alien. This will bring a whole new spin to a franchise that has gotten stale with recent releases.

Bloody-Disgusting does not expect Rodriguez to take up any duties aside from producer.
