Singer Sean Levert Dies in Jail

Sean Levert died in a Cleveland, Ohio jail Sunday.

After falling ill in a Cleveland, Ohio jail, R&B singer Sean Levert died Sunday, BBC News reported.

The former singer had been in jail for a year and 10 months, according to 2Snaps.tv, because he owed $89,025 in child support.

TMZ.com reported that Levert had been physically restrained by guards prior to his death. But, post an autopsy and coroner's report, foul play had been ruled out in causing his death, BBC reported. Kevin McDonough, the jail warden, explained, reported BBC, that guards had just been monitoring Levert because of his strange behaviors once he had begun to feel sick.

Sean was a part of the band LeVert, which included his brother Gerald Levert and friend Marc Gordon.
