Sirius Starts "Client 9 Radio"
According to CNN, Sirius Satellite Radio has launched a new channel called "Client 9 Radio," which will solely provide coverage of all aspects of the former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's prostitution scandal.
This will be a temporary satellite news station that will exist from Friday at 5 p.m. ET to Monday at midnight.
Sirius announced that the new channel was launched due to a strong audience interest in the story, according to CNN. "Client 9 Radio" will provide a "forum for this national conversation," where listeners can call and participate in discussions.
The temporary news station will also feature Sirius commentators such as Judith Regan and Bill Bennett, according to a statement.
Eliot Spitzer resigned as Governor of New York after federal officials linked him with a high priced prostitution ring, referring to him as "Client 9."
The former Governor has not admitted to anything in specific and has not been charged with any crime, so far.
