SJP Welcomes Twin Daughters

Hollywood couple Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have received some recent negative publicity surrounding their marriage. However, the very first photograph of the happy couple's twins was released Monday evening. Born via a surrogate mother, twin daughters Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge were born on June 22 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The photograph was taken by Robin Layton and it pictures the joyful couple, their newborn twin daughters, and the couple's first child, their son, James, who was born in 2002.

It has been reported that the twin sisters' unique names are representative of Sarah Jessica's individuality and personal style. Although their newborn daughters are twins, Parker and Broderick decided to choose names that are very distinct from one another. After naming their first born James, they made it a point to move away from such a traditional name to two names that are not at all cliche or uninspired.
