Slash's Album Will Feature an Unlikely Combination
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is working on a solo album, which will feature Ozzy Osbourne and Fergie, Gigwise reported.
In an interview on the website Rockerrazzi, Perla Hudson, the guitarist's wife, announced: "It's going to be Slash and friends, with everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to Fergie."
Slash performed The Beatles' "In My Life" with Ozzy at the 2005 Royal Variety Performance, and performed with Fergie this summer in California.
Hudson claimed that Slash's current band, Velvet Revolver is "not my husband's best work," but said he "feels great" about Guns N' Roses' newest album, "Chinese Democracy."
"He feels great about it. It's been long-awaited." She also added, "Our kids like it but they also like Elmo, so that goes without saying."
Slash announced to NME earlier this year that he has demoed 14 songs for his new album. The release date has not yet been set.
