Smallville Stuntman Seriously Injured
Initial reports said he fell 26 feet
Tuesday was no small day on the set of WB's "Smallville." The stuntman to actor Tom Welling, who plays Clark Kent, was seriously injured when he fell 37 feet. Christopher Saymour, 35, suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries. He is in serious condition at a hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, his family said Wednesday.
An investigation was conducted and determined the fall wasn't a result of foul play, according to a spokeswoman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Diane Blain.
The Seymour family wants "everyone to join us in praying for Christopher's recovery," according to a statement. The series network's thoughts and prayers go out to the victim and his family.
