'Smallville' Update: The Isis-Lois Connection Explained
Confused Smallville fans can stop banging their heads against the wall and listen up. The Lois/Isis connection has been solved.
“It’s an inhabitation story,” executive producer Brian Peterson tells Entertainment Weekly about the Lois-Isis connection. “Lois is actually going to be possessed by the spirit of Isis.”
In another minor clarification, Smallville‘s Isis will not be the DC Comics character. Instead, it is the actual Egyptian goddess Isis with a nod and a wink to the DC Universe version.
In other Smallville news, Chloe fans can set their DVRs accordingly. Though Allison Mack is not signed on for the entire final season, she will be in the season premiere and then she will return mid-season.
Peterson says she will return in a “very impactful way in Clark’s life. It’s a great wrap-up to her character, and it also dovetails into the Chloe/Oliver relationship.”
Smallville starts its last season on Friday, September 24 at 8/7c.
