There are a lot of posers out there on that vast world we call the Internet. Some are fans posing as their favorite movie or TV characters on Twitter and Facebook, others are stars as their one-time alter egos looking to gain publicity or connect with fans. Some are funny, some are an embarrassing stretch.
Recently Venture Beat discovered an account on Yelp.com that's being run by everyone's favorite Nightlife Correspondent, Saturday Night Live's very own Stefon.
Stefon, a giggly, drug-induced, overly-enthusiastic flaming homosexual hipster, regularly appears in Weekend Update segments reviewing fictional New York City clubs and bars located in little-known places like " the Lower Lower East Side" and "in the middle of the East River," owned by people named "Tranderson Cooper."
It's unclear whether the account is run by Hader, another SNL writer, or just a fan with a great sense of humor and a lot of free time on their hands. Either way, the more Stefon there is in this world, the more we'll know about clubs like "Haaaaay" and "Spicy!"
There are only four posts so far, but here are some highlights from the reviews off of "Stefon K.'s" Yelp profile:
Pete Wentz's restaurant Angels & Kings:
Although it should be called Angels & Queens! Scandalous!! (Pete Wentz is a giving loverrrrr).
Located in the middle of the fountain in Washington Square Park, this pan-sexual portauthoriparty is the creation of Italian club owner Tranny Hall.
And this place has everything: Mr. Miagi impersonators, skinny cholos, a jacuzzi of expired milk, a Polynesian nanny who looks like Smokey Robinson…
…and look who just walked in! Is it Natalie Portman? No! It's an old Irish Black man we all call "Murphy Brown!"
Hogs & Heifers Saloon
The back room is velvet roped, and looks just like a filthy toilet stall, but trust me, slip your meat under the seat and watch what happens! So, in summation:
Cottage Cheese.
Depression.
Tim Meadows.
Rick Roll'd
Georgia O'Queefe.
YAY HOGS & HEIFERS!
