Snooki Arrested for Being Snooki

‘Jersey Shore’ star arrested and tells cops ‘I’m Snooki, bitch!’

Last Friday, reality-sitcom star and head guidette Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi was arrested on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk for disorderly conduct.

Beachgoers complained that Snooki, 22, was harassing them and called police to the scene. She was "falling down drunk and belligerent" and insulted the police who led her away.

"You can't tell me what to do - I'm Snooki. Do you know who I am? I'm [expletive] Snooki. You can't do this to me. I'm [expletive] Snooki. You guys are going to be sorry for this. Release me!"

In a statement to Access Hollywood, the SHPD commented, “On July 30th, 2010 at approximately 1523 hrs, Nicole Polizzi was acting in a disorderly manner while located on the beach at Fremont Avenue in Seaside Heights. Ms. Polizzi was placed under arrest for the charge of Disorderly Conduct within the Fremont Avenue Street End. Ms Polizzi was then transported to Police Headquarters where she was processed and later release on a summons.”

Additional sources report that her behavior had gotten worse after she was placed in her cell. She threatened police in her pink animal print outfit, screaming, “I'm Snooki, b----. You're gonna get fired tomorrow."

The drama continues, as rumors claim that fellow cast member Angelina Pivarnick had something to do with Snooki’s arrest. Her current boyfriend is a Seaside police officer.

According to Seaside Heights court administrator Jane Carrozza, Snooki is scheduled for her first court date on August 18 at 9:00am in municipal court. If prosecuted, she won’t be seeing any jail time, but she could be fined between $250 and $1,000.

The premiere of Season 2 for Jersey Shore drew in 5 million viewers, and the show can be seen Thursdays on MTV at 10pm. Season 3 is currently being filmed in Seaside.
