Snoop Dogg Says Dr. Dre's "Detox" Is Finished
It seemed like it would never actually happen, but Dr. Dre's long in-the-making album, Detox, is finished, Snoop Dogg told Rolling Stone.
"That record is real, it's coming," Snoop Dogg said, after recording several tracks that are reportedly in the mix for making the album. "I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off."
Snoop Dogg went on to say that all of the tracks are finished, and now it's up to Dr. Dre to go through and pick which ones will make the cut.
"I see what he got them waiting for, it's on and poppin'," he went on to say. In addition to frequently collaborating together, both Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre were members of Death Row in the mid-'90s.
Snoop Dogg also informed the magazine that Dre will produce his next album, the follow-up to Ego Trippin'.
