Soap Star Daughter Calls Off Engagement
Little Lamas and fiance split.
Soap opera star Lorenzo Lamas's daughter, Shayne Lamas, has called off her engagement to reality show fiance Matt Grant, WENN reports.
Lamas met British stockbroker Grant on The Bachelor: London Calling, and after the show's six week run, he chose her to be his bride. He proposed during the show's finale in May.
However, now the two have decided to split what has been called a rocky relationship from day one. "We tried hard to make it work but we realized that we were both heading in different directions," the two said in a statement released to People. They assure their public that they "will remain close friends."
The young Lamas is currently working on Deep in the Valley, due out later this year.
