Source said Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger not reconciling, the ring Shriver is wearing is her late mother's

Despite reports that Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger were reconciling amid new Internet fodder that Shriver was wearing her wedding ring again, there is now an explanation.

Shriver is actually wearing her late mother, Eunice Shriver’s engagement ring. As she was close with her mom, she has been wearing it since her death two years ago.

Furthermore, a source close to Shriver is clearing up any rumors that Shriver isn’t going through with divorce proceedings from the former California governor after 25 years of marriage and a discovered love child with their housekeeper, telling People, “The reports of a reconciliation are not true.”

The estranged couple have four children; Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher. They still spend time together as a family, even recently spending Christmas Day together.

A family source said of their family, “Arnold and Maria will always come together when it comes to supporting and loving their children.”

Meanwhile, The Hindustan Times reports that Shriver’s cousin, Caroline Kennedy, is said to be against a reunion with Schwarzenegger.

Kennedy is said to have been trying to convince Shriver not to get back together with her cheating husband. It seemed to have worked.

Her other family members are reportedly not on board with a reconciliation either.
