South Park Season Premiere Slams Sex Scandals

South Park started its 14th season last night by doing what the raunchy satirical show does best: taking blown-up scandals exaggerated shamelessly by the media and making them look just plain silly.

This time, the South Park boys had to deal with the small town's hype over celebrity sex scandals. The show had more than enough ammunition, featuring cartoon appearances by David Letterman, Charlie Sheen, Bill Clinton, and, of course, Tiger Woods.

After ribbing Tiger Woods over his recent scandals, the episodes proceeds to search for the cause of sex addiction, place Kyle and Butters in sexual rehab after coming across an image of a naked woman, and ask the question of why "rich, successful men are trying to have sex with lots of women."

At the end of the day, the episode reminds us, as South Park often does, that we give special attention to celebrity faults and force them into ridiculous acts of contrition in order to save face.
