Southern California's Weenie Roast Lineup Announced

KROQ's annual Weenie Roast has announced their summer lineup. The concert, which is next Saturday, May 16, showcases some of the best in contemporary rock today.

Weezer, Kings of Leon, Jimmy Eat World, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Rancid, and the Silversun Pickups are headlining the festival. Alongside those heavy hitters are newcomers like the Airborne Toxic Event, Cage the Elephant, and White Lies.

On the second stage, Hollywood Undead, Asher Roth, Anberlin, and Big B will be performing.

The Weenie Roast will take place in Irvine, Calif., at the Irvine Meadows/Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Currently, tickets are sold out. Tickets can still be bought through secondary ticket sellers at higher prices.

The Weenie Roast is hosted by the Los Angeles radio station, KROQ. The concert event has been occurring since 1993. Past artists include Green Day, the Offspring, Beck, Rage Against the Machine, Garbage, No Doubt, the Cure, and the Chemical Brothers.
