Spears Is Getting Help

Monday morning, Barbara Walters announced on The View that she spoke with Sam Lutfi, manager to the pop star mess Britney Spears, over the weekend. Lutfi, according to FOX News, told the talk show host that Spears is suffering from "mental issues which are treatable," and she is seeking out treatment.

E! Online reported that the 26-year-old singer has been meeting with a psychiatrist and has also begun mending things with her mother, Lynne, who is "helping her through it."

Spears's now famous meltdown on Jan. 3 left her with no custody of her two boys and estranged from her own parents. Fans have been wondering what it would take for her to seek professional help.

Now, her controversial relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib is over and she has allowed her family back in. But, it is still up to the courts as to whether or not Spears will be getting her kids back too.
