Spencer Pratt Attacks Celeb Site

PopEater.com, AOL's spot for celebrity gossip, has recently suffered an attack from Spencer Pratt of reality show The Hills. Back in August, PopEater asked readers if the duo of Spencer Pratt and girlfriend Heidi Montag (more popularly known as Speidi) should be banned from the site. An overwhelming percent (95 to be exact) voted yes.

But in "the spirit of democracy," PopEater decided to give the couple another chance, and arranged for an interview. That may have been a mistake, as Pratt spent much of the interview insulting the site and its fans.

When Pratt was told about the poll taken over the summer, his response was, "Wow, I can't believe I even agreed to do an interview with your terrible website." When asked if Heidi was available for comment, he responded that she "is very mad and doesn't want to answer any questions."

But in the end, he thanked PopEater for lifting the ban against him. "That's what America's all about. Freedom of speech, we need our platform."
