Spice Girls Reunion Almost Final
After months of on-again off-again speculation it appears as if a Spice Girls reunion will actually occur. MSN music news is reporting that Baby, Scary, Ginger, Posh and Sporty Spice will make an announcement to the world on Thursday June 28th stating their reunion plans. It is unknown at this time if these plans include a world tour or album. However a rumored greatest hits package was said to be in the works, which featured new songs.
Rumors of a comeback tour and album had been in the works for awhile, with Melanie C. holding out. In a statement Melanie C. says, "I've always said, 'I don't want to do it, the past is the past. It was amazing, it was magical. We could never recreate it.' But this year people have been talking about it and some of the girls have expressed an interest in doing it."
The Spice Girls broke onto the music scene in 1997 with their massive worldwide hit, "Wannabe," and became one of the most popular music groups of all time. The group disbanded in 2001 following the release of "Forever" and disappointing reviews and album sales.
