Spitzer Call Girl Thanks Fans for Support
During the revelation of Ashley Dupre's role in the Eliot Spitzer scandal, everyone had something to say: Spitzer himself, the media, and even random individuals who expressed their approval or disapproval for her actions.
During this time, however, no one has heard anything from Dupre herself, at least until now.
According to Fox News, Dupre has spoken for the first time since the scandal began, thanking her supporters and detractors for their comments.
For her supporters, she thanked them for "taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment." To her detractors, she praised them as well, saying that their words "make me push myself and want it even more."
Dupre became known when court documents made public that she was the girl Spitzer hired for trysts at a Washington hotel. The documents list her as assuming the alias "Kristen" while Spitzer went under the pseudonym "Client 9."
Spitzer would end up resigning from office after the scandal became public.
In April, Dupre sued Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis for $10 million, based on the claim that the company was using illicit images of her when she was underage.
It is unknown as to what path Dupre will take from here. It is certain though, that wherever she goes, she already has the positive attitude required to get there.
