Springsteen to Release Obama-Inspired Album
Leading up to the Nov. 4 election, Bruce Springsteen did his best to get Barack Obama elected. He campaigned, performed shows, introduced the Illinois Senator and even helped with the get out the vote campaign.
And now, Springsteen will release an album right before Obama takes office in the White House.
According to Backstreets.com, a fansite dedicated to Springsteen, the yet-to-be-titled album will be the follow-up to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 2007 multiplatinum record. Springsteen has already recorded a great deal (if not all) of the material with the E Street Band in sessions with producer Brendan O'Brien.
One of the tracks included will probably feature "Workin' on a Dream," which Springsteen performed with his wife - Patti Scialfa - for the first time last weeked at an Obama campaign event in Ohio.
Stay tuned for more information as it comes available.
