Star-Studded Super Bowl Fun for Charities
It's getting even hotter in Miami. Last night, to kick off the Superbowl weekend festivities, numerous celebrity performers participated in an hour long benefit concert. The Super Bowl Fan Jam 2010 took place in Miami, Florida, to raise money for Pepsi's Refresh Project that aides various causes such as leukemia.
Among the performers were Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Young Jeezy, and Timbaland. Justin Timberlake also devoted some of his time, performing the new hit single, "Carry Out," through a virtual duet with Timbaland.
Rihanna performed numerous times throughout the evening. Her connection to the event was more personal as she recently lost a young 6-year-old friend to leukemia.
Also to make an appearance was Mark Sanchez. The New York Jets quarterback was awarded $25,000 for an organization to help aide children suffering from juvenile diabetes.
