Starbucks Revives Folk with Bob Dylan Jams

The coffee chain will soon be selling some of Dylan's bootlegged songs

Singer Bob Dylan will soon share shelf space with Canadian songstress Alanis Morisette. No, the pair isn't moving in together; Dylan's bootlegged album, Bob Dylan: Live at the Gaslight 1962 will be sitting next to Ms. Morisette's acoustic version of Jagged Little Pill at Starbucks stores all over the U.S. and Canada starting August 30. Starbucks Coffee Company reached a deal with Dylan to release the CD of 10 recordings from New York's Gaslight Cafe in 1962, when he was just starting out as a songwriter. Some of the tunes your head can nod to while your mouth is sipping a caramel macchiato are "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright," A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall," "Barbara Allen," and "The Cuckoo."
