Stargate-SG1 gets transported to cancellation
MGM hopes to find a way to keep the show alive
Stargate-SG1 is going to need some of its sci-fi magic if it wants to stay on the air.
The Sci-Fi channel announced Monday the channel was ending production of the series after it concludes it 10th season next year, according to E! Online.
"Having achieved so much over the course of the past 10 years, Sci Fi believes that the time is right to make this season [its] last on the channel," the network said.
The Hollywood Reporter was reporting MGM, the company behind "Stargate-SG1," said it plans to fight to keep the show alive, even if it requires moving networks.
