Starlet Becomes More of a Housewife but Remains Desperate
The French Chateau of Vaux-le-Vicomte will host a posh wedding ceremony uniting Eva Longoria and Tony Parker this Saturday, July 7th.
The 32-year-old Texan, "Desperate Housewives" star, has long been a fan of the San Antonio Spurs, so no one was shocked when she fell for the team's 25-year-old, French-born point guard. The two announced their engagement in late November 2006.
Set in a French palace that rivals the Versailles of the infamous "Sun King" Louis XIV, and chosen because of Longoria's draw to France's glam and Parker's nationality, the Longoria-Parker affair will be far from simple. Some might even call it a "desperate" plea for media attention.
The British OK! magazine will exclusively photograph the event, which will be frequented by celebrities from Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas to Longoria's Desperate co-stars. Groom Parker recently released a rap album, and rumors circulate that he will perform a spectacle-soaked number at the reception.
Although Longoria will remain with her top-rated television series, "Desperate," with this step she becomes more of a housewife.
