Stars Line Up for Clive Davis' Grammy Party
Clive Davis has always been considered one of the godfathers of the music industry. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work as a record producer and is currently titled the Chief Creative Officer of Sony Music Entertainment Worldwide. The founder of Arista Records and the former Chairman and CEO of the RCA Music Group, Davis has launched the careers of such superstars as Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson.
The Grammy Awards are just around the corner and talk has already spread about the list of star-studded acts set to perform at Clive Davis’ famous gala, which kicks off the business’ biggest weekend on Saturday night. One of the most unique aspects of the music mogul’s party is that the precise line up of performances remains unconfirmed until they hit the stage. Rumors have been hinting at such singers as American Idol alums Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood as well as Maxwell and Ke$ha. In addition, such superstars as Lil Wayne, Prince, The Jonas Brothers, and Mary J. Blige are expected to attend the party.
