Statins that Lower Cholesterol Are No Help for Cancer Risks.

There is no connection between stain drugs and a lower cancer risk.

It has been reported that drugs used to lower cholesterol levels called statins do not appear to do double duty with an ability to lower the risk of cancer. The Journal of the American Medical Association has reported no definite connection between statin drugs and the risk of cancer. They did a review and analysis of past research studies where one would suggest such a connection could exist but upon a very thorough inquiry there was simply "no proof". The Journal of the National Cancer Institute in another study seems to support this conclusion in that their study also found no proof of a cholesterol-statin connection. There is no easy way to good health. It seems that, lower cholesterol drugs and a lower risk of cancer is just a rumor not based on fact.
