According to SportingNews.com, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger yet again came through in the clutch, just like he did in the Super Bowl agains the Arizona Cardinals. Big Ben completed 33 of 43 passes for 363 yards and led the Steelers down the field to complete the game winning drive on kicker Jeff Reid's field goal.
The game received excellent ratings, states the Associated Press. The NFL received the highest ratings for its season opener in seven years, according to Nielsen Media Research.
