Stephen Tyler Suffers a Fall at a Show!
Steven Tyler, the infamous and outrageous lead singer of the legendary band Aerosmith had an accident while on stage at a South Dakota gig, reports Reuters.
The frontman accidentally tripped off of a runway on the stage and fell, injuring his shoulder, head and neck. Tyler was airlifted to a local hospital, where later a doctor confirmed that his injuries are not critical or life-threatening.
The New York Times reports that Tyler had been trying to rev up the crowd because the sound system at the concert had temporarily broken during the classic song "Love in an Elevator." A fan from the concert said "you could kind of see it (the fall) coming because he was dancing all over the stage." Despite his mishap though, sources say that Tyler remained calm about the experience and was even joking with the doctors after he was put in a helicopter. A spokesman from the concert mentioned that Tyler's fall was "an unfortunate end to an extraordinary evening."
