Stephenie Meyer To Sit Down With Oprah

"Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer will sit down with Oprah Winfrey to talk "New Moon." This is Meyer's only promotional interview for the movie. The questions will be designed "for a broader audience than just die-hard ‘Twilight' fans."

Meyer wrote about her upcoming appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on her official web site .

"Since I'm only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big," she wrote before announcing that interview would be with Oprah.

Why the exception? Meyer is as excited about the upcoming release of "New Moon" as "Twilight" fans.

"I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with ‘New Moon' that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him," she said.

"I'm so very excited that you'll all get to see ‘New Moon' in just two weeks! Then you'll see what I'm going on about," she teased.
