Steve Carell and Keira Knightley to Star in Film Together

Looks like Steve Carell is already keeping himself busy following his departure from The Office. The actor is set to star in an action-romance movie called Seeking A Friend For the End of the World.

The movie is about an approaching doomsday and a man who is searching for his high school sweetheart after his wife leaves. Actress Keira Knightley is in talks to co-star as Carell's character's neighbor, who goes with him on the road trip.

Deadline reports that the film will be co-financed and produced by Mandate Pictures and Indian Paintbrush. Production will start in June, and the film will be released by Paramount Pictures.

The film will mark the directorial debut of Lorene Scafaria, who wrote the script for the movie Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, according to Total Film.
