Steven Spielberg confirmed today at the San Diego Comic-Con that a fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series should be released in two to three years.
According to Deadline, the director made the announcement during a panel promoting his newest film, The Adventures of Tintin.
"We have a writer who is writing the treatment and hopefully we are going to make Jurassic Park 4 in all of our foreseeable futures, hopefully in the next two or three years," he said, according to E! Online.
The update on the next installment has come just as the Blu-Ray set of the first three films will be released in October.
There is no word on whether or not Spielberg will direct the film himself. Jurassic Park III was directed by Joe Johnston.
Spielberg is also working on several other projects, including Lincoln for 2012 and War Horse for 2011.
