Stevie Nicks Is a Technophobe
There are many people who believe that technology has taken over the minds of today's youth. One of those people just happens to be Stevie Nicks, singer of Fleetwood Mac. According to thehuffingtonpost.com, the singer is so opposed to technology, that she does not own a phone or a computer.
And even though Nicks does have an iPod, she prefers to listen to CDs and cassettes on a boombox and considers herself a technophobe. "It sounds better and you'd be convinced," she says.
Nicks believes that people have become techno drones, with their hands permanently attached to a computer or cell phone. She says that people today have become obnoxious, having lost all social graces. "I believe [computers] have in many ways ruined our children. I believe that kids used to love to go out and play," Nicks said.
She is currently on tour with Fleetwood Mac, and the band has released a new CD/DVD entitled The Soundstage Sessions.
