In an effort to milk the Twilight franchise for all its worth, there are talks that the final installment of the story may be divided into two films.
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella in the saga, says the project "definitely warrants two films," reducing the amount of scenes that will inevitably have to be cut if only one movie is made.
If the studio does decide to do this, the cast will expand their time on set from three months to six in order to successfully complete the story and bring fans a quality ending worthy of the book.
Stewart told MTV: "I don't know yet [whether they're going to split it]. They don't know yet."
Virtually an unknown pre-Twilight, Stewart is now a household name along with Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the Twilight cast, thanks to Stephenie Meyer's series.
Breaking Dawn will begin filming in November 2010. Whether it will be part one of two is yet to be determined.
