When I first saw her years ago (back when she still had long hair), I thought 'this girl doesn't really have style,' she looked like every girl you'd see in any club, she just happened to have an amazing voice. After 'Disturbia,' I really began looking to Rihanna as a style icon. 
She went from the sophisticated bob to the super edgy pixie cut, and as her hair gets shorter, it seems that Rihanna's style gets better. She always looks great in formalwear at events, or laid back street style photos. Stepping it up to the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna isn't afraid to step out of the box and show the world that she really has edge. She's a true trendsetter with her partially shaved head, her classy and stylish clothing picks, and her amazing voice paired with insanely catchy beats.
