Sundance Film Festival Announces Changes and Line-Up
The Sundance Film Festival announced the 2010 film line-up, reported Los Angeles Times.
The festival's organizers announced 113 films were selected for the world-wide competition of more than 38 countries.
The film festival competition consists of three categories; U.S, World Dramatic and Documentary.
The festival runs from January 21-31 in the Utah cities of Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance.
This year's film festival includes a low-budget filmmaking section and also a Sundance Film Festival U.S.A program, in which during one night only filmmakers from the festival will be able to screen their features at eight cities across the country.
In addition to these changes the festival will show on opening night to three films, which will fall into the three categories of narrative film, documentary and short film, instead of the traditional one showing.
John Cooper will replace Geoffrey Gilmore as director of the Sundance Film Festival.
