'Supernatural' star Jared Padalecki confirms wife, Genevieve Cortese, is pregnant
Supernatural star, Jared Padalecki, is expecting his first child with wife Genevieve Cortese.
The actor, 29, confirmed the joyous news on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
“OK yall I’d rather you officially hear it from me … So, yes. Genevieve is pregnant. We’ll be welcoming a new member to our family in 2012,” Padalecki wrote, People reports.
Other roles for Padalecki include the role of Dean on Gilmore Girls, alongside Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham.
E! News reports that Padalecki and Cortese, who met on the set of Supernatural, got married in March of last year. Cortese appeared on the fourth season of the show.
They made their relationship official, just two months after confirming their engagement, in Cortese’s hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho.
