Surprise Casting Scoop on 'Smallville'

The CW's Smallville is known for introducing DC Universe characters in interesting ways and they are doing it once again.

In an upcoming episode entitled "Isis," Smallville is bringing the comic book goddess Isis onto the show. Who’s playing her? Erica Durance.

Did you do just do a double take? I thought so. That’s right; Smallville’s own Lois Lane will also be taking on the part of Isis, according to this weeks addition of Ausiello TV.

This season is already shaping up to be a big one for Lois Lane. At the end of last season, Lois figured out that the Blur and Clark Kent are one in the same.

Also, her family is making a return as Lois will be visited by both her father, General Lane, and her sister, Lucy. There is no word yet on how Lois Lane’s character will be linked to Isis.

Isis is scheduled to debut during the fifth episode in Smallville’s tenth and final season, which begins on The CW Friday, September 24 at 8/7c.
